Yellow, MK Indy -R- This MK took a retired aerospace engineer 6 years to build, it passed the then SVA in 2007 and was used for 3 years covering 594 miles! It then was put into dry storage for the following 7 years.This is very well finished off example and a pleasure to drive, It is powered by a 1.6 Litre Overhead cam engine but on a power to weight ratio the car still feels quick enough to make anyone smile. The carbs were new when built and the engine is crisp and accelerates well through all the gears, It has fully independent suspension sporting adjustable Gaz coilover shock absorbers, front disc brakes and drum rear piped up with braided hoses which stop it very well. Five Ford RS alloys and each tyre is almost brand new only covering 700 miles, There is a spare which has never been used and a rack for it it too which can be fitted on the rear which is not fitted but is included in the sale. Black interior with yellow piping which really stands out, Smith clocks, Astrali steering wheel, the seats are mounted on runners so are adjustable which is rare for one of these too. Five speed type 9 gearbox with the gear lever on a remote linkage to pull it back further into the cockpit instead of being nearly under the dash, Correctly registered on the Log book as MK, with an age related plate, so not on a ‘Q" plate, All the electrics work as they should with electronic ignition, this is a well sorted go anywhere car, we also have every receipt from the build too, New MOT.
