This absolutely stunning 427 Cobra recreation is without question the most astonishing and individual example of the marque you will ever see. Painstakingly built over an 8 year period by a specialist engineer, this 427 is based on the exceptionally rare and sought after D.J. Sportcars tubular race chassis. Both time and money have been endlessly lavished on this car, including a one-off removable aluminum hard top with gull wing doors. Hand formed, using an English wheel and bespoke fabricated aircraft style bracing, it is a work of art in itself. Under the bonnet you will find an original Ford 427 cubic inch V8 side oiler, as originally propelled the 60’s Le Mans winning Cobras. In fact, the crank shaft is one of only a handful which were cast and machined for the original Ferrari beating race cars.
